Raccoon Coffee & Kitchen is a cozy café nestled in the heart of Miami’s Midtown neighborhood, offering a calm spot for locals looking to recharge with quality coffee and thoughtfully crafted meals. The atmosphere strikes a balance between casual and inviting, with a handful of tables that encourage lingering over a latte or a quick lunch. It’s a comfortable place for solo visitors tapping away on laptops, friends catching up, or those grabbing a morning coffee before heading out into the city.

What sets Raccoon apart is how their coffee is prepared fresh on arrival — a detail that slows the pace just enough to savor the moment without feeling rushed. Those who appreciate a smooth, well-balanced cup will find the oat milk latte and matcha latte particularly satisfying, with the coffee itself avoiding that burnt or overly bitter edge common at larger chains. For iced coffee fans, the cold brew brewed overnight carries a mellow, layered flavor that holds up well under Miami’s warm sun.

The food menu complements the drinks with straightforward but flavorful options, focusing on fresh ingredients and quality execution. Wraps, such as the organic chicken or salmon wrap topped with arugula, pesto, and mozzarella, work well for a light lunch or mid-afternoon bite. Watching the sandwiches being prepared through the deli window adds a subtle layer of engagement to the experience, giving a glimpse behind the scenes that’s appreciated whether you’re stopping by for a quick pick-me-up or a more casual meal.

Locals tend to come here midday or early afternoon, taking advantage of the relatively quiet time to enjoy a leisurely break. The café’s move from a food truck to a brick-and-mortar spot has established it as a neighborhood staple, especially for those living or working nearby in Edgewater and Midtown. The vibe is relaxed, unpretentious, and clearly centered on quality over fuss, making Raccoon well-suited for anyone who values a dependable café with a bit of personality.

The last time I was in Miami, I stopped by the Raccoon Coffee & Kitchen trailer. I got an iced coffee and acai bowl. As you can see, I thoroughly enjoyed the acai bowl! There was a short wait, but not bad.

Today I finally got to visit Raccoon Cafe's brick-and-mortar shop! They used to have a food truck, but now they've opened a physical location right next to my house. The spot is really pleasant with a few tables, and it's conveniently located right in Midtown. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino. The coffee was flavorful and didn't taste burnt, which is always a plus. To eat, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, which was decent. However, I also ordered an almond croissant that was a bit disappointing. The filling wasn't tasty or flavorful; it seemed like a greasy, sugary paste, which fell short. You can expect to spend, on average, $10 to $15 per person. There's plenty of free parking available in the back for customers.

The breakfast wrap, chicken caesar wrap and croissant-wich are 10/10 and my go-to spot when in Miami. Waaaay better than Pura Vida and they opened a new spot in edgewater!

I went to the new store location in Edgewater and the quality is the same. This is my favorite local coffee shop in Edgewater. I highly recommend the iced latte with caramel. It has a different flavor than other coffee shops. The price is $5.50 + $0.70 for flavor if I’m not mistaken, which is comparable to the area.

This coffee shop is incredible. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The coffee was on point, smooth, and perfectly brewed. You can tell the staff truly cares about quality in everything they serve. One of the best parts is the window where you can watch the deli sandwiches being made. It adds such a fun and unique touch to the experience. Between the warm atmosphere, amazing food, and exceptional coffee, this place has easily become one of my new favorites.

Raccoon Coffee in Edgewater, Miami is an absolute gem of a coffee food truck! The vibe is always friendly and inviting, with Sharon the barista greeting everyone with a smile and attentive service that makes you feel right at home. Their drinks are consistently top-notch—I’m especially in love with the iced matcha, which is perfectly balanced and refreshing. The coffee is rich and smooth, and the pastries are always fresh and delicious. Whether you’re stopping by for your morning fix or an afternoon treat, Raccoon Coffee never disappoints. Five stars all the way!

Outstandingly baked croissants meet deliciously prepared ingredients to make one of Miami's best breakfast sandwiches anywhere. The oat milk mocha latte went perfectly with this bacon egg and cream cheese (+avocado) croissant. Three tables and a counter space for locals to eat and lots of room to take out inside.
